Access digital and data training

Throughout your ODP journey, you’ll have access to a wide range of training materials, sessions, and resources. The Planning Advisory Service (PAS) will deliver training on a variety of topics, and new sessions will be announced on Slack and other communication channels as they become available.

Below you can access learning resources and catch-up on previous online training recordings.

Self-organised training sessions

In-depth sessions focused on significantly up-skilling you on areas you’ll need to practise regularly. They might be half or full day events, in person or online.

Arrange your training

  1. Review which other LPAs have done the training you want to attend and which providers or courses they have used. You’ll find this information on the training pages linked below. Reach out to any LPA you’d like to hear more from.
  2. Find a provider that you’d like to work with and organise the course. You can use your funding to pay for this.

1. Agile project delivery training

We strongly recommend you start by completing agile project delivery training as soon as you can.

2. GIS and spatial data training

A good next topic is GIS and spatial data.
